EEA and EFTA in tender search

Tender search previously limited the country selection to Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Germany, even though Cobrief already ingests European notices from TED. Teams monitoring markets outside these five countries could therefore not narrow their searches, alerts and insights as needed. The entire EEA and EFTA area is now available.

Choose from 31 European countries

The country selector now includes every EU country, plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. Your selections apply throughout the search setup: standard tender searches, saved searches and alerts, place of performance, market insights, and the settings the agent uses when assisting your team.

This means that a team monitoring the Dutch, Austrian and Irish markets, for example, can select those specific countries instead of working around a fixed Nordic default. Existing searches and default selections have been preserved, so the expanded coverage does not change the setup you already use.

Regional filters follow each country's structure

Location filters use each country's official NUTS classification. You can open a country and select the relevant regions at the level that makes sense there, instead of using a model designed for Norway. Germany and France use broader regional levels, while the other countries can be narrowed down in greater detail.

Notices without a valid regional code for the place of performance appear under "Other locations" rather than being excluded from the search. This makes it clear which notices have been classified by region while keeping relevant notices with incomplete location data in the results.
