Some common questions and answers

Do you use our data to train AI models?

No. We have strict agreements with our AI providers that prohibit your content from being used to train models. Your data remains yours and is only used to answer what you ask for.

Where is our data stored?

Your customer content, that is tender data, documents and text you enter, is stored in the EU/EEA, mainly in Belgium, under European regulations.

Is our data kept separate from other customers'?

Yes. The AI only retrieves exactly the pieces it needs from your own, separated data area. It has no memory across customers, so your content is never mixed with anyone else's.

How is the data secured?

Everything is encrypted, both at rest and in transit. On top of that sits least-privilege access control, mandatory two-factor authentication for administrative access, and around-the-clock monitoring.

Who has access to our data?

You log in with the Microsoft or Google account you already have, so we never store passwords. Access follows the principle of least privilege and is managed through your own sign-in, with the rules and two-factor authentication you already have there.

What happens if the system becomes unavailable?

Cobrief runs on major cloud providers with high uptime, and critical data is continuously backed up, also outside the main storage. We have a fixed recovery plan that we test every year, so the service comes back quickly if something should go down.
