What is CobriefBot?

CobriefBot is the web crawler operated by Cobrief AS. It collects public tender documents for procurement notices so that suppliers can easily find and assess relevant competitions in Cobrief.

The crawler always identifies itself with this user agent:

CobriefBot/1.0 (+https://cobrief.com/bot)

What does it collect?

Tender documents (competition documents with attachments) that contracting authorities publish openly for their procurement notices. Public procurement law requires these documents to be freely and electronically available to the public.

The crawler fetches at a moderate rate to avoid putting unnecessary load on the sources, and only fetches what is needed: documents from active, recently published competitions.
