Feedback Bonanza: new notifications, custom tender statuses, and a heap of improvements

A new round of Feedback Bonanza: notifications that keep the team in sync, custom tender statuses you can tailor, and a heap of improvements across the pipeline, search, and the agent.

We have been through a new round of Feedback Bonanza, our own push for quick improvements. Here is the most important of what we have shipped recently, with two bigger highlights up top: notifications that keep the team in sync, and the ability to create your own tender statuses.

In short

  • Notifications: You now get notified when you are assigned a task, or when something happens on a tender you own.
  • Custom tender statuses: An administrator can create statuses that fit your process exactly.
  • Pipeline remembers where you were: The list no longer starts at the top every time you have been inside a tender.
  • Status and winners in search: You can see whether a notice is active or expired, and who won, right in the search list.
  • Better flow in the agent: Custom titles for conversations, stop with Escape, and a fix on iPad.

Notifications that keep the team in sync

When several of you work together on tenders, it is easy to lose track of who is doing what. Now you get notified when something happens that concerns you:

  • You are notified when a colleague assigns you a task on a tender.
  • You are notified when something happens on a tender you own.
  • All notifications are collected in a dedicated inbox in Cobrief, with an overview of what you have read and not.
  • You can also get the notifications summarized by email, so you catch the important things even when you are not logged in.

Create your own tender statuses

No tender process is exactly alike. Now an administrator can create custom statuses tailored to the way you work, for example a dedicated step for "Waiting for supplier info" or "Legal review".

  • Create custom statuses, name them, change the order, and delete the ones you do not need.
  • Move tenders between statuses with drag and drop on the kanban.
  • The same statuses apply everywhere in Cobrief: pipeline, kanban, list, and search.

When the statuses mirror your own process, everyone can see where a tender stands at a glance. Then it is Cobrief that adapts to you, not the other way around.

Better flow in Pipeline and search

  • Pipeline remembers the scroll position: If you go into a tender and back, the list continues where you were. Handy for those of you who go through the categories regularly every week.
  • Multiple delivery locations at once: The delivery location filter in Pipeline now takes several choices at once.
  • Status and winners in notice search: See whether a notice is active or expired, who won, and the contract duration, right in the list.
  • Clear inbox is back: You can once again clear the entire inbox in Pipeline in one operation, for those of you with the right permissions.
  • Cleanup suggestions in filters: If you have hidden several notices in a row, Cobrief suggests adjusting your filters.

Improvements in the agent

  • Custom titles for conversations: Name the agent conversations yourself, independent of the first message.
  • Stop the response with Escape: Press Escape to stop the agent while it is writing.
  • Better on iPad: The text field no longer slips under the edge of the screen after the first message.

Small touches that make a difference

  • Deadlines and links at the same time: The deadline section and the links on the tender page can now be open at the same time.
  • A clearer way back to the brief: Clearer icon and navigation in the tender area, and the proposal room keeps the folder you are in open.
  • More visible menu: Easier to find the menu for private tenders and the global navigation.

Keep speaking up

A lot of this comes straight from your feedback. Is there something you are missing in Cobrief? Click the help button in the app or send us a message, and it lands on the list for the next round.
