We're launching access management!

With access management in Cobrief, you can safely invite your entire bidding team.

Want to invite more colleagues into the fold, but a little afraid someone might press the wrong button? We totally understand. That's why we're launching access management, making it even safer to collaborate as a team.

Bidding work is a team sport. But we also know it can feel a bit stressful when many people are collaborating in a tool. The fear that someone might accidentally delete an important element or change some settings is completely natural. We think this may have held some people back from giving the whole team access.

With access management, we now make it even easier to maintain control and oversight.

How the new roles work

To keep your day simple, we've divided permissions into three straightforward levels. Here's what the different roles actually mean for you and your team:

👑 Administrator: You control the general access level for each user on everything from tender searches to subscriptions and invitations.

✍️ Member: For those who need to create and manage proposals, use AI features, and manage the library.

🤓 Reader: These can view tenders, proposals, supplier information, and write comments.

Getting started

It takes you exactly ten seconds to set up:

  1. Go to Settings and select Users.
  2. Find your colleague.
  3. Select the right role from the dropdown menu.
  4. Done! The change takes effect immediately.

Everyone already using Cobrief today automatically starts as "Administrator". You can of course adjust this whenever it suits you.

Inviting with the right role

When you invite new users, you can choose which role they should have from the start. The default choice is "Member".

Frequently asked questions

What happens with existing users?

All existing users receive the "Administrator" role when the feature launches — so everything works just as before.

Can I remove the last administrator?
