We're launching a tender dictionary!

Public tenders are complex, but the terminology doesn't have to be. Cobrief has created a free tender dictionary to make it easier for you as a supplier to understand the industry language. Find out what the words mean and save time.

How would you explain what a CPV code is? Or what a Calculator does? Or what ESPD means? What about the difference between a Notice and a Prior information notice? Or Voluntary ex ante transparency notice and Prior information notice? This can be quite difficult to explain in a flash, whether at a family dinner or an internal meeting at work.
That's why we've now created a dedicated Tender Dictionary!
For now, it unfortunately only exists digitally, so the illustration image is just our dream so far. But who knows, maybe one day we'll launch a physical version?
What the Tender Dictionary actually looks like.
Anyway. Working with public tenders is often a complex task, as both you and we know well. And then there are all those difficult words and abbreviations! No wonder things get confusing sometimes.
Why are we doing this?
We want to make life easier for everyone who works with public tenders. That means these suppliers need to spend their time and energy on what actually matters: Creating proposals that win! Not on trying to remember or explain all sorts of complicated terms and abbreviations.
In our tender dictionary you can quickly find out what the most obscure and bureaucratic words mean, so you don't have to stress about interpreting tender documents. The dictionary is easy to use and gives you definitions for everything from "CPV codes" to "Award criteria" and "Qualification requirements".
This is just one of many things we do to give you a simpler workday. Check out the dictionary and feel free to share it with your colleagues. How about a little lunch quiz on who can get the most words right?
We hope this helps make your workday even a little easier!
_PS: The dictionary is continuously updated, so if you're missing a word, we'd love to hear about it! _Write to us and we'll include it right away.
