Our approach to AI

Cobrief has a responsible and customer-focused approach to AI. We prioritize privacy by using European AI models, respect customers' data ownership, stay up to date on the latest technology, and ensure reliability through source references. Our AI integration is designed to streamline tender processes, provide better suggestions and assessments, and support users -- all with the goal of making tender work more efficient and valuable for our customers.

At Cobrief, we use artificial intelligence across the product we deliver. We therefore want to make our approach to the use of AI clear, and show how we use the technology in a safe way that protects our customers' interests.

Cobrief does not use AI uncritically, nor do we use it merely to market ourselves as an AI product. From the start, we have focused on building a solid core product that, even without AI, should be valuable to our customers. At the same time, we see the enormous benefits of building AI features into the product. Our team has expert competence in artificial intelligence, and our customers can be confident that our approach to AI use safeguards their interests.

This is our approach:

  • Privacy. We use AI models that process and store all data in Europe. The models are managed by Microsoft in the Azure cloud platform, and data is never sent outside of Europe.
  • Data ownership. Our customers own their own data, and it is never used to train AI models. We never share customer data with other customers, or sell it to third parties.
  • Knowledge and expertise. We continuously stay up to date on the latest AI technology, and our customers will benefit from some of the most powerful AI models on the market.
  • Reliability. Many find that AI and language models sometimes hallucinate and provide incorrect answers. At Cobrief, we ensure accuracy, verifiability, and honesty in AI-generated content by always referencing the sources our AI used. This makes it possible to verify the accuracy of generated content and know exactly what the AI based its text on. Where we use AI-generated content, we are also transparent about the inherent advantages and weaknesses.
  • AI in the product. We are building a product that streamlines the tender process -- with AI we can provide significantly better suggestions, make better assessments of tenders, and not least help with writing proposals. The AI technology is combined with already solid technology, and is designed to support the user, provide good suggestions, and save them time. The goal is to make the work of those who handle tenders even more efficient.
